As the manager of Kids in Action Preschool and Childcare Center in Kaduwela, it brings me great joy to share the remarkable impact. Our innovative approach to early childhood education has had on our young learners. Through the implementation of internationally recommended teaching methods and the provision of abundant space for exploration and play, we’ve cultivated an environment where children not only thrive but also develop a lifelong love for learning. Our curriculum is carefully crafted to encompass the best practices in education, including the renowned AMI teaching methods, which prioritize active based learning to engage children’s curiosity and foster their cognitive development. In addition to core subjects, such as literacy and numeracy, we integrate activities like dancing and singing to promote creativity, mindfulness and holistic growth. The progress and achievements of our students stands as a testament to the effectiveness of our approach. It gives me immense pleasure to share my thoughts. As the Head of the Kids in Action Malabe branch, I am happy to say that my team is committed to creating a caring and safe atmosphere that promotes emotional, social, and academic development. We aim to nurture our students into fine human beings by imparting quality education and inculcating human values. We provide a creative environment, which is both stimulating and challenging. Children learn best through doing and we give ample opportunities to explore experiment and discover with hands-on equipment and materials in an adult-directed setting. At Kids in Action Pre-School will give much importance to imaginative and play way methods, especially in Play Group and Nursery. Therefore, the curriculum we follow promotes learning through music, art, dance and various activities. I believe that with the constant support of the parents, we will continue to make learning a joyful and meaningful experience.
